Royal Enfield Teases New Himalayan Ahead of EICMA 2025

Royal Enfield has dropped an exciting teaser of a new motorcycle under its Himalayan range ahead of its debut on November 4 at EICMA 2025. While the company hasn’t revealed the name yet, speculations are rife that this could either be the long-awaited Himalayan 750 or Rally Edition of the Himalayan 450.

What the Teaser Hints At

The short video doesn’t give away much, but it confirms that Royal Enfield is ready to expand its adventure motorcycle lineup once again. The teaser shows glimpses of rugged terrain and the signature Himalayan silhouette, suggesting an ADV built for serious off-road exploration.

Design and Features

Earlier, official prototype images released by Royal Enfield offered some strong clues about what’s coming. The test bike featured a half-fairing design with a circular headlamp, upright windscreen, and a two-piece seat—likely designed to enhance long-distance comfort. It also appears to have mounting provisions for panniers and a top box, hinting at its touring focus.

Other visible elements include a larger TFT instrument console, sturdy bash plate, and a high-mounted front fender, aligning with Royal Enfield’s classic adventure-ready design language.

Expected Powertrain

If this indeed turns out to be the Himalayan 750, it will mark a major step up in performance. The bike is expected to use a new engine derived from RE’s existing 650cc parallel-twin unit, tuned for higher output—likely above 50 BHP.

This should make it the most powerful ADV from Royal Enfield yet, slotting above the Himalayan 450 and positioning it closer to mid-weight ADVs like the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 and Suzuki V-Strom 650.

Hardware and Suspension

The upcoming model is expected to feature a USD fork setup at the front and a monoshock at the rear, both adjustable to handle a variety of terrains. Braking duties are likely to be handled by dual discs upfront and a single rear disc, potentially with switchable ABS for better off-road control.

What to Expect at EICMA 2025

Royal Enfield’s EICMA showcase on November 4 will reveal all—whether this new addition is the highly anticipated Himalayan 750 or a special Rally-spec 450 variant. Either way, it signals the brand’s commitment to strengthening its adventure portfolio on a global scale.
