Mahindra Records Highest Ever SUV Sales In October 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra records a year-on-year growth of 26% in October 2025, with overall sales of 1,20,142 units, including exports. Thanks to recent GST cuts and spiked demand in the festive season, the SUV maker registered its highest-ever SUV sales with 71,624 units sold in the domestic market, an increase of 31% compared to the same month last year.

With exports includes, the total SUV sales reaches 73,890 units last month, reinforcing Mahindra’s leadership position in India’s utility vehicle segment, driven by continued demand for its XUV700, Bolero, Thar and Scorpio range.

Mahindra sales in October 2025

The company’s commercial vehicle (CV) division also posted healthy growth, with domestic sales of 31,741 units, up 14% year-on-year. Within this segment, Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) under 2 tonnes grew by 16%, while LCVs in the 2–3.5-tonne category registered a 14% rise. Mahindra’s three-wheeler lineup, including electric variants, witnessed robust demand with 12,762 units sold, a notable 30% jump over the same period last year.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said “In October, we achieved SUV sales of 71,624 units, a growth of 31%, which is the highest SUV sales we have clocked ever in a month! The total vehicle sales stand at 120,142 units, a 26% growth compared to the same month last year. October also saw the launch of the new editions of Thar, Bolero & Bolero Neo.”
