2026 Tata Tiago Facelift – Bolder Than Ever

  • Tata has comprehensively updated the exterior of the hatch, making it look bolder than before.
  • Upfront, the 2026 Tigao facelift features an all-new blanked-out grille, which is finished in gloss black in the ICE version, while the electric iteration features a body-coloured unit.
  • The headlamps of the hatch have also been revised, featuring eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs.
  • The bumper has also been redesigned, with the ICE model getting vertical air vents and pixel-shaped fog lamps finished in black, whereas the bumper on the EV is completely body-colored and skips fog lamps.
  • Coming to the sides, both ICE and EV versions get new alloy wheels, along with black cladding on wheel arches.
  • Both versions look identical from the rear, featuring a new connected tail lamp setup with vertical LED strip elements. Furthermore, the bumper has a large black appliqué, along with vertical reflectors on both sides.

Other Expectations

While the interior of the new Tiago is still under wraps, the teaser confirms that it will get a new free-standing digital cluster and revised seat upholstery. Additionally, keen eyes can also observe a 360-degree camera module on the hatch. Expect the facelifted Tiago to also get a wireless charger and a powered driver seat.

Powertrain Options

While the ICE-powered Tiago will continue to be offered with the existing 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engine options, the Tiago EV is likely to get larger battery packs for better range.

In the compact hatchback segment, the Tata Tiago goes up against the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. On the other hand, its electric version has no direct competitor in the country.
