The automobile industry, which has been languishing for some time, received a very important push in the festive season. However, compared to October month, the sales declined slightly in November 2020. Here's the list of top-selling cars in India for November 2020: –

Takeaways:-
- Once again, Maruti Suzuki emerged as the most preferred brand as a total of 7 Maruti cars have made it to the top 10 list, acquiring the top 5, 8th & 10th positions.
- Out of these 7 Maurits, all cars except for the Ertiga witnessed a negative MoM growth. In fact, the MoM figures for the top 9 cars went down last month.
- Apart from the Maruti, Hyundai with Creta & i10 Nios made to the top 10 demanded cars list.
- The Creta enjoyed the most YoY growth in November month.
- The only sub-4m SUV on the list, Kia Sonet also registered a slight decrease in MoM, but the sales were strong enough to push it from last to 7th position.
- The total sales figure of the top 10 cars stood at 1,36,593 units, which is approximately 48% of the total car sales (2,86,469 units) for November 2020.
