Free EV Charging For All VinFast Customers Till March 2029

All existing and new customers of the VinFast VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs can now cheer as the brand has extended its free charging program from July 2028 to March 31, 2029. Both new and existing customers of a Vinfast EV can charge their vehicle at any one of the brand’s dedicated V-Green charging outlets across the nation, that too free of cost. And most importantly, both private and commercial owners can benefit from this free charging program.

Back in December 2025, VinFast partnered with RoadGrid to set up fast charging stations at high-demand locations across India, including HPCL outlets. While RoadGrid handled site selection, maintenance, and operations, VinFast managed the overall charging ecosystem and software integration. However, the exact number of VinFast charging stations currently operational in India remains unclear.

Earlier, RoadGrid had also signed an MoU with VinFast to establish 120 service workshops in India.

Commenting on the occasion, Ms Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales, VinFast, said, “VinFast’s initial free charging policy received strong support from consumers, both in Vietnam and in international markets where VinFast operates. Extending this policy for another three years is the next step in our strategy to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. VinFast believes that when operating costs are optimised to nearly zero, consumers will have greater confidence and motivation to switch to green mobility, while also contributing to the greening of transportation systems in these countries.”

In other news, VinFast has recently introduced the ‘Trade Gas for Electric’ program for its potential customers, under which the brand is offering an additional 3% discount on the exchange of a combustion-powered car on top of other exchange benefits.
