Kia Carens Clavis EV Now Available In 6-Seater Version; New Variants Launched

  • The 6-seater version is available across eight variants.
  • The new X-Line trim comes in an exclusive Dark Gun Metal shade.

After updating the Sonet SUV with new variants, Kia India has now taken the bet on the Carens Clavis EV by introducing the electrified people mover in a 6-seater configuration with captain seats in the 2nd row. This will be offered alongside the existing 7-seater option. Additionally, the Korean carmaker has also introduced the new GT-Line and X-Line variants for the extended range version.

2026 Kia Carens Clavis EV – What’s New?

  • With the MY2026 update, the Carens Clavis EV is now on par with its ICE sibling, offering both 6 and 7-seater configurations. Thus, providing buyers with more options to enhance passenger comfort and personal space.
  • Kia has also introduced the lineup with new GT Line and X-Line variants, offered only with the 51.4 kWh battery pack.
  • The GT Line variants bring a sporty character with a new design for alloy wheels, lime green brake callipers, and metal pedals. On the other hand, the X-Line variant adopts a darker and more rugged aesthetic, highlighted by an exclusive Dark Gun Metal exterior colour, offered alongside the Aurora Black Pearl paint option.
  • In addition to these visual enhancements, new features like digital Key and battery heater technology are offered in the GTX+ and X-Line variants over the equipment included in the top-spec HTX+ 51.4kWh trim.
  • Kia has also introduced newly designed 16-inch Black High Gloss Aero alloy wheels in the Standard Range variants.
