Exicom Inaugurated A New Plant In Hyderabad With An Investment Of Rs 216 Crore

  • Exicom manufactures EV chargers (AC & DC), lithium-ion battery systems, and critical power solutions used in telecom networks and data centres.
  • The new facility has a built-up area of 2,80,000 sq ft.

Exicom Tele-Systems Limited, one of India’s leading EV charger manufacturers and power management technology companies, has inaugurated its new plant in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 216 crore. Spread across 18.4 acres with a total built-up area of 2,80,000 square feet, this manufacturing facility will strengthen the company’s manufacturing footprint, increasing overall production capacity by 2.5 times in phase I and creating over 750 jobs in the region.

Designed around Industry 4.0 manufacturing principles, the plant integrates advanced automation, robotics, and digital traceability to ensure high precision manufacturing at the scale level. The facility features an ISO 8 cleanroom environment for the production of advanced power electronics. Additionally, the plant features specialised testing infrastructure to validate product performance under real-world conditions.

The company also plans to establish India’s first EV charger interoperability testing centre at this site, aimed at ensuring seamless compatibility between EV chargers across vehicles. The Hyderabad facility will also manufacture Tritium’s TRI-FLEX liquid-cooled power modules.

The new facility also features 40% green cover, a 1MW rooftop solar power plant, rainwater harvesting and a dedicated sewage treatment plant.

Exicom’s new Hyderabad plant will increase production capacity, improve product quality through advanced automation, and reduce delivery time, which will ultimately help buyers get more reliable EV chargers and power solutions at better availability and competitive pricing.
