Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Back On Sale At Rs 28.49 Lakh

Following strong demand for the BE 6 Batman Edition, Mahindra has relaunched the special-edition variant of the electrified SUV at Rs 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially limited to just 300 units, the company later increased production to 999 units. Even then, all those units got sold out in just 135 seconds. Due to this overwhelming response from buyers, the Indian marque has decided to reopen the bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition on March 10 (only for one day).

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – What’s Special?

For those unaware, Mahindra has designed the BE 6 Batman Edition in collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products. That said, it features Batman-based styling elements, including a special black hue finished in matte (called Satin Black), along with Batman logos finished in Alchemy Gold. These logos are placed on the front fenders and next to the BE 6 badge on the tailgate. The 20-inch alloy wheels of the SUV are further complemented by gold-finished brake callipers and suspension coils.

It also gets Batman decals on the front doors, while the rear sports “BE 6 x The Dark Knight” badging to denote its special nature. Additionally, Mahindra has also placed the Bat emblem on hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, and windows & rear windshield.

The other notable additions include: –

  • ‘Batman Edition’ signature sticker on rear door cladding
  • Night Trail puddle lamps with Bat emblem logo projection
  • Brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard
  • Charcoal leather instrument panel with brushed gold halo around the driver’s cockpit
  • Suede and leather upholstery with gold sepia accent stitching and integrated Bat emblem for a rich, tactile experience
  • Alchemy gold detailing on the steering wheel, In-Touch Controller, Electronic Parking Brake, and custom key fob
  • Bat emblem embossing on the “Boost” button, seats, and interior labels
  • Pinstripe graphic and Bat emblem across the passenger dashboard panel
  • Race car-inspired door straps with Batman Edition Branding
  • Batman Edition welcome animation on the infotainment display
  • Custom Batman-inspired artificial engine sounds

What Powers The BE 6 Batman Edition?

Since the Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three variant, it only comes with the SUV’s larger 79 kWh battery pack that comes mated to a rear-axle-mounted motor (285PS/380Nm) and claims 683 km of range on a single charge.

Mahindra also offers other variants of the BE 6 with a smaller 59 kWh battery option, with a claimed range of 557 km.

The BE 6 electric SUV is pitted against the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti eVitara, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Toyota Ebella.
