Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition Explained

The 2026 third-gen Renault Duster has finally made it to our shores, with introductory prices starting from Rs 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in five key variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+ and Iconic. To make its comeback to the Indian market more memorable, the brand has also introduced a new Launch Edition based on the top-spec Iconic variant. While it gets all the amenities of the standard model, it stands out with a host of exclusive visual enhancements, details of which are mentioned below: –

Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition: Styling Elements

  • While the Launch Edition looks identical to the top-spec Duster Iconic variant, it gets an exclusive Duster Iconic badge with yellow contrast stripes and Himalaya-inspired graphics placed on a black plate, along with the Renault Logo on the front doors. 
  • A yellow highlight is also present on the body-cladding over the doors, with an “ICONIC” lettering.
  • The roof rail also has ‘Duster’ lettering in yellow finish.
  • The Launch Edition also features blacked-out alloy wheels for a stealthier appearance.

Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition: Colour Option

The Duster Iconic Launch Edition comes solely in a dual-tone Mountain Jade Green shade with a Black roof.

Other than the above mentioned changes, the Launch Edition remains identical to the Iconic variant. That said, it features the same interior layout, draped in a dual-tone black and Mountain Jade green cabin theme with leatherette upholstery.

The features list also remains the same as the Iconic trim. Key highlights include automatic LED projector headlamps, a10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment with Google OS integration, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system,6-way power adjustable front seats with ventilation support and manual lumbar support adjustment, dual-zone auto AC with rear vents, panoramic sunroof, an air purifier with PM2.5 filter, 48-colour ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, rain sensing wipers, six airbags, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, TPMS, front, side & rear parking sensors, hill hold, and level-2 ADAS suite.

Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition: Engine Options

Renault offers the Launch Edition with the SUV’s 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol (163PS/280Nm) and 1.8-litre petrol with a strong-hybrid system. While the former can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the latter comes solely with the 8-speed automatic DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission). It doesn’t have the smaller 1-litre turbo petrol engine on offer.

Buyers eyeing the 1.3-litre Duster Iconic Launch Edition will have to shell out Rs 16.99 lakh for the manual and Rs 18.49 lakh for the automatic version. Price for the 1.8-litre engine option is yet to be announced.
