Tata Motors has launched the all-new Adventure X persona variants for its flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, at Rs 18.99 lakh for the Harrier Adventure X and Rs 19.99 lakh for the Safari Adventure X+ (both prices, ex-showroom). These new variants simplify the previous Adventure trim and blend an adventurous lifestyle appeal with top-tier features.
Alongside this, Tata has also rejigged its variant lineup, discontinuing several trims across both the Harrier and Safari, including the Smart, Smart (O), Pure, Pure (O), Pure Plus and Pure Plus S.

Powertrain
Mechanically, both the SUVs remain unchanged. They continue to come equipped wth a 2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine (170PS/350Nm), paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While its not official, resports suggests that both the Harrier and Safari will get a petrol engine by March 2026.
Competition Check
In the mid-size SUV segment, the Harrier and Safari duo faces competition from the likes of MG Hector & Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and Hyundai Alcazar.
