Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition – What’s Special?
EXTERIOR
Revealed by the leaked images, Kushaq’s new range-topping Monte Carlo Edition will get plenty of cosmetical changes both inside and outside of the car. For starters, it will get a glossy black grille with smoked LED headlamps on either side. The silver skid plates will also be draped in black, along with the ORVMs and roof. It will also receive differently designed 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 205/55 section tires. Also, there will be the prominent Monte Carlo badging on the front fenders.
The SUV is likely to be offered in two paint options: Red and White.

INTERIOR
Inside, the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition will boast an all-black theme with tons of red highlights on the dashboard, door pads, and upholstery. It will also get a fully-digital driver’s display instead of the regular model’s analog unit. However, unlike the previous speculation, it will continue to get the single-pane electric sunroof.
Other than the above-mentioned changes, everything else will remain the same as the standard Kushaq.

Powertrain
Skoda is likely to offer the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition with both 115PS 1.0-litre TSI and 150PS 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engines, mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional automatic transmission. For reference, the smaller capacity engine comes with a 6-speed torque converter unit, while the higher capacity mill gets a 7-speed DSG transmission.
Expected Price
Expect the Monte Carlo Edition to command an approximate premium of around Rs 70,000 over the regular Style variant of the Kushaq, which ranges between Rs 14.89 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
