VinFast VF MPV 7 Teased; Launch Soon

Vinfast has teased its upcoming model for the Indian market, which will be a people mover, likely to be the VF MPV 7, which is already being sold in international markets. When launched, it will be the brand’s third model in the Indian market.

VinFast VF MPV 7 – What To Expect?

  • As the name suggests, the VF MPV 7 will be a 7-seater offering, with a 2+3+2 configuration.
  • It will be positioned against the likes of Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9s, and BYD eMAX 7.
  • Measuring 4740mm in length with a 2,840mm wheelbase, the VinFast VF MPV 7 is known for its spacious cabin with a strong focus on passenger comfort, and its teaser image also suggests the same.
  • Its flexible seating ensures you get boot space of up to 1240 litres.

  • Speaking of its appearance, the VF MPV 7 boasts a minimalist, uncluttered design, featuring the brand’s V-shaped LED DRLs, smooth body lines and a well-balanced stance.
  • Inside the cabin, a large touchscreen dominates the dashboard, with minimal use of physical buttons.
  • Performance-wise, the global-spec VF MPV 7 comes equipped with a 60.2 kWh battery pack, paired with a front axle-mounted motor generating 201HP and 280Nm. It has an NEDC claimed range of 450 km on a single charge.
  • It also offers multiple drive modes and regenerative braking levels, with a claimed 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of nearly 10 seconds.

VinFast is expected to share more details about the VF MPV 7 ahead of its launch, which is likely to take place in the coming weeks. The carmaker is anticipated to reveal key specifications and feature highlights to build momentum around the upcoming electric MPV.

In other news, VinFast is also gearing up to foray into India’s electric two-wheeler market, with three electric scooters, namely Evo, Feliz II and Viper, all of which are expected to arrive as CKD (completely knocked down) units.
