Skoda India Extends Validity Of Services And Maintenance Plans Till July 31

Skoda India is the latest carmaker to announce the extension of the validity of scheduled services and SuperCare maintenance plan. The announcement has been made considering the ongoing lockdowns-like restrictions in various states due to the second wave of COVID19 pandemic in the country.

Skoda has extended the deadline of the above-mentioned services till 31st July 2021 for Skoda cars & SUVs, which were due to expire between April and June month. Additionally, the owners, whose roadside assistance policies were meant to lapse between 1st April and 31st May 2021, now can avail the services until 30th June 2021. However, the brand hasn't made any statements regarding the extension of warranty-related services of their vehicles. The brand has also donated €1,000,000 (nearly Rs 8.86 crore) to help the nation in fight against the covid-19 pandemic.

In the other news, Skoda Auto is all set to launch four new/updated models in the country by the end of 2021. These include 4th-gen Octavia sedan, the all-new Kushaq SUV, Skoda Rapid's successor model, and the facelifted Kodiaq flagship SUV. The Czech brand has already revealed that the new Octavia and the Kushaq will hit showrooms in June 2021, with their deliveries expected to start from July month. In fact, the 2021 Octavia was originally scheduled to take place in April 2021, but its arrival got delayed to the unexpected rise of covid-19 cases across the country.  

On the other hand, the Skoda Kodiaq facelift and the replacement model for the Rapid (could be named Slavia) will be launched in late 2021.
