TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Updated With More Features

TVS Motors has updated the Apache RTR 160 4V for 2026, with a focus on redistributing features to make the lower-spec trim more value for money. But before we delve into details, here’s a look at the variant-wise revised price list of the refreshed Apache RTR 160 4V: –

2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V – What’s New?

To start with, TVS has made the all-LED lighting system, LED projector headlamp, and assist & slipper clutch as part of the standard feature list, available across the variant lineup. Earlier, these features were restricted to the top-spec TFT variant.

This update brings clear benefits, like the LED lighting system, especially the LED projector headlamp and LED side indicators, which improve nighttime visibility, while the assist & slipper clutch ensures lighter clutch operations and prevents rear-wheel hopping during aggressive downshifts, thus improving overall riding comfort and safety.

With this update, the lower variants feel less barebones than earlier, making them a good option for those with a tight budget.

What Else?

Aside from the redistribution of features, the Apache RTR 160 4V remains unchanged. The streetfighter continues to be powered by the same 160cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which generates 17.55PS of max power at 9,250rpm and 14.73Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm, making it one of the most powerful options in its segment. The bike also retains amenities like a 5-inch TFT cluster, traction control system, three ride modes (Sport, Urban, and Rain), TVS SmartXonnect, adjustable levers, and radial tyres.
