Mahindra has launched the mid-spec Pack Two variants of both XUV 9e and BE 6 with a larger 79 kWh battery pack option. Earlier, both of these variants were limited to just a 59 kWh unit, while the 79 kWh unit was exclusive to the top-spec Pack Three variants.
This move makes the long-range battery significantly more accessible compared to the earlier top-spec variants. — Rs 3.40 lakh cheaper in the BE 6 variant, and Rs 4 lakh cheaper in the XUV 9e.

Mahindra has confirmed that their deliveries will start by the end of July.

Mahindra XUV 9e and BE 6 Pack Two – Features
Aside from introducing the larger battery pack options, the Pack Two variants remain unchanged. They continue to get state-of-the-art techs and amenities likes multiple driving modes with boost mode, multi-step regeneraton, single pedal drive, virtual engine sounds, bi-LED headlamps with DRLs, 19-inch alloys, fixed glass roof, triple screen setup in the XUV 9e and dual screen setup in the BE 6, 16-speakers Harmon Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, wireless chargers, rain-sensing wipers, tilt & telescopic steering, dual-zone A, rear AC vents, six airbags, brake-by-wire technology, electronic parking brakes, front & rear paring sensors with 360-degree camera, TPMS and level-2 ADAS.

Rivals
The Mahindra BE 6 competes with the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and Hyundai Creta Electric. On the other hand, the Mahindra XEV 9e locks horns with the BYD Atto 3 and the recently launched Tata Harrier EV.
