- Despite a slight decline in the sales last month, Maruti Suzuki retained its position as the highest selling car brand of India. Interestingly, its sales figures are almost equal to the combined sales of Hyundai, Tata and Mahindra. In fact, the brand has also registered its highest-ever total sales of 2,234,266 units in FY 2024-25.
- With 8.6% MoM growth, Hyundai reclaimed its usual second spot on the list thanks to the strong deamand for the Creta last month. However, it witnessed a slight decline in the YoY figures.

- With an 11.2% MoM boost, Tata Motors climbed one spot up to become the third best-selling brand in India.
- Mahindra slipped to the fourth position in the sales table, with a loss of 4.7% in monthly sales. However, its YoY sales registered a surge of nearly 18%.
- Toyota sold 28,373 units in March 2025, recording positive growth in both monthly and yearly sales.
- The next five spots on the list are claimed by Kia, Skoda, Honda, MG and Volkswagen — all of which registered a boost in sales compared to both February and the same period last year. Thanks to the growing demand for the recently launched Kylaq sub-4m SUV, Skoda witnessed the highest YoY surge among all.
