Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line

Volkswagen India is all set to launch the Tiguan R-Line performance SUV on April 14, 2025. Pre-launch bookings are already underway, and we expect it to be priced at around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering it will be a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic and an all-wheel drive system.

VW has recently announced that the Tiguan R-Line will be offered in six monotone colours.

New-Gen Skoda Kodiaq

The new-gen Skoda Koduaq will hit Indian shores on April 16, 2025. The updated SUV features a refreshed design inside and out, along with a host of new features. Based on the brand’s latest “Modern Solid” design philosophy, the new Kodiaq features a more aggressive styling than its predecessor with plenty of sharp cuts & creases. Changes inside the cabin will be more noticeable thanks to the all-new multi-layered dashboard layout.

Globally, Skoda offers the new-gen Kodiaq with multiple powertrains, including a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with mild-hybrid tech, a 2-litre petrol with AWD, and a 2-litre diesel offered with both FWD and AWD systems. However, the India-spec Kodiaq is expected to retain the 2-litre petrol engine like its previous model that comes mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic unit.
