Skoda Kylaq Helps The Brand To Record Sales of Over 7422 Units In March

Skoda India reported sales of 7,422 units in March 2025, with the recently launched Kylaq being the primary sales driver for the Czech automaker. This is the highest-ever monthly sales by Skoda in India. This achievement represent a significant jump from February 2025, when Skoda sold 5583 units, showcaing a 33% month-over-month (MoM) growth.

Skoda Kylaq – The Star Performer

With deliveries started in January 2025, the Kylaq, Skoda’s first sub-4m SUV, has been a game changer for the brand. This Maruti Brezza-rivaling urban SUV has gained good amount of traction among buyers for its premium European build, 5-star safety and fun-to-drive performance. With over 15,000 active bookings, Skoda is ramping up production to deliver all pending orders by May 2025.

Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India commenting on the sales landmark said, “With the launch of the all-new Kylaq, we committed to a ‘New Era’ in our India journey. The 7,422 cars we sold in March 2025 is testament to this journey taking shape, and is also the result of sustained planning, efforts and a strategy aimed at democratising European technology on Indian roads. The customer feedback highlights that Kylaq comes with an exceptional price-value proposition, taking comfort, space and safety from a segment higher, into the sub-4-metre SUV segment. To enable more customers and celebrate the Kylaq success, we decided to extend the introductory pricing until the end of April.”

Expanding Reach & Customer-Centric Innovations

Skoda’s rapid growth is supported by its expanding dealership network, which has grown from 120 touchpoints in 2021 to over 280 today, with a target of 350 by the end of 2025. The brand is also enhancing its ownership experience with digitalized showrooms, online sales, Skoda Supercare maintenance plans, and the newly introduced one-year complimentary maintenance package.
