Hyundai India has launched the Adventure Edition variants of Creta and Alcazar in India, with prices starting from Rs 15.17 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s a look at their prices –

For the price premium of Rs 36,000, the Creta and Alcazar Adventure Editions sports various cosmetic enhancements and introduce a new safety feature not present in their standard versions. These include:-
- Blacked-out grille
- Blacked-out Hyundai logo
- Blacked-out alloy wheels with red brake callipers
- Black finish on side mirrors and roof
- Black-coloured body cladding
- ‘Adventure’ badges
- All-black cabin theme with sage green inserts around the AC vents and seat upholstery
- Dual-camera dashcam
- 3D floor mats
- Metal pedals

- Apart from the above-mentioned additions, the Hyundai Creta and Alcazar retain all the features of their regular versions.
- A few noteworthy highlights comprise a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, BOSE sound system, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, six airbags, vehicle stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX anchors and a reverse camera.
The Hyundai Alcazar also gets a 360-degree camera and digital driver’s display.

Engine Options
- Hyundai offers the Creta Adventure Edition only with the 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine (115PS/144Nm), with both 6-speed manual and CVT automatic options.
- The Alcazar Adventure Edition can be had with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol (160PS/253Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel (116PS/250Nm) mill.
- A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard with the Hyundai Alcazar, while automatic choices contain a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with the turbo petrol mill and a 6-speed torque converter with the oil burner.
Competitors
In the mid-size SUV segment, the Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition poses a threat to the matte editions of the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. On the other hand, the Alcazar Adventure Edition goes up against the Tata Safari Red Dark and Adventure Editions.
