At the recent Honda Shine 100 launch, Atsushi Ogata, president and CEO of HMSI confirmed some substantial updates for the Honda Activa 6G.
According to the reports, the Activa 6G is expected to get an all-new digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity. While it’s not official, there are a few features that could make their way onto the scooter, such as call/SMS alerts, navigation assistance, and battery & network status. The scooter could also get the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVC) from the H’Ness CB350.
We expect these features to be restricted to the recently launched H-Smart variant of the Honda Activa that features the segment’s first keyless system.

Aside from the connected features, the Honda Activa 6G could also receive some new colour options. However, mechanically, things are likely to remain unchanged. It will continue with the 110cc engine, mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
With all these changes, expect the prices of the Honda Activa 6G to increase by a decent margin. Currently, the scooter is priced at Rs 74,536 for the STD variant and Rs 80,537 for the range-topping H-Smart trim.
