Design and Underpinnings
- The all-new Harley-Davidson X440 borrows its design cues from the now-discontinued XR1200R, featuring typical roadster styling with neo-retro styling elements.
- Key highlights include a circular LED headlamp with an integrated horizontal LED DRL, a bulky fuel tank, LED indicators, round-shaped side mirrors, an oval-shaped tail light, a flat handlebar, mid-set footpegs for a comfy riding pose, and a scooped-out single-piece seat.
- Speaking of the hardware, the X440 is built on a double downtube frame, suspended on a 43mm USD fork up front and a gas-charged, preload-adjustable twin shock absorber suspension setup at the rear.
- The bike rides on 18 / 17-inch machined alloy wheels, shod with 100/80 (F) and 140/70 (R) section MRF Zapper Hyke tires. The Classic variant gets spoked wheels.
- For anchoring duties, it gets 320mm front and 240mm rear ByBre disc brakes, assisted by dual-channel ABS as standard.
- It has a kerb weight of 190.5 kg, a seat height of 805 mm, ground clearance of 170 mm and a 13.5-litre fuel tank.
