Earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz announced plans for a price hike across its model lineup starting January 2025. Joining the price hike bandwagon BMW has now announced that it will also increase the prices of its cars from the same period. The Bavarian cars will attract a premium of up to 3%, depending on the model. While the carmaker hasn’t revealed a reason behind the price hike, it is expected to be due to the higher input costs.
Currently, BWM has twenty-three models in its Indian lineup, including locally produced models like the 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series LWB, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, and the M340i. The other models on BMW’s India lineup include i4, i5, i7, iX1, Z4, and the entire M range, all of these models are fully imported (CBU).
