The highly-anticipated 5-door Mahindra Thar Roxx has finally been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 12.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). Its full-price list will be revealed soon.
Mahindra Thar Roxx – Exterior Design
- The Thar Roxx retains the iconic, boxy silhouette that has made the Thar a classic, now extended to accommodate its 5-door design.
- It features modern LED headlights with distinctive C-shaped LED DRLs and a fresh body-coloured 6-slat grille, giving the front end a striking appearance. Silver accents adorn the front bumper, adding a touch of sophistication.
- The side profile reveals the addition of rear doors, with the door handles cleverly integrated into the C-pillar.
- This version of the Thar rides on 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, giving it a bold stance, while a metal roof with a panoramic sunroof elevates its premium feel. Lower trims are also offered with a single-pane sunroof.
- At the rear, the Thar Roxx continues the C-shaped motif with its taillights and features a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, staying true to its rugged roots.
Mahindra Thar Roxx – Interior and Features
- Inside, the SUV boasts a refined black and beige theme, with white leatherette upholstery on the seats and black leatherette padding on the dashboard, highlighted by contrasting copper stitching.
- The front seats include independent centre armrests, but the real highlight is the second row. This area is equipped with ISOFIX child seat mounts, a foldout centre armrest, three-point seatbelts, and adjustable headrests, ensuring comfort and safety for all passengers.
- The elongated SUV also features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, auto AC, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, push-button start, Harmon-Kardon sound system and much more.
- For safety, the Roxx comes with standard six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree surround view system, ESC, and an ADAS suite.
