3,215 Units of Okinawa Praise Pro E-Scooters Recalled

Amidst increasing EV fire incidents, Okinawa Autotech has issued a voluntary recall for 3215 units of Praise Pro electric scooter. Under this recall campaign, the EV maker will be inspecting the batteries for loose connections or any other damage and will be fixing issues to nullify any potential mishappening.

This will be done free of cost at all Okinawa authorized dealerships across the country. The brand will soon start contacting its customers to schedule an appointment for a fitness checkup of their vehicle.

With this, Okinawa has become the first EV manufacturer to issue a recall campaign after incidents of EVs catching fire have been registered.
