2025 Hero Xtreme 125R Launched With Cruise Control and Dual-Channel ABS

Hero MotoCorp has launched a new fully-loaded variant of the Xtreme 125R called the “Dual-Channel ABS”, with a host of new features, making it a more compelling offering than before. The brand has priced it at Rs 1,04,500 (ex-showroom). Here’s a look at its variant-wise complete price list: –

2025 Hero Xtreme 125R Dual-Channel ABS Variant: What’s New?

The new Hero Xtreme 125R packs a host of new amenities like cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, 4.2-inch coloured LCD cluster, and most importantly, dual-channel ABS, making it one of the most feature-rich 125cc motorcycles in its segment, aimed at riders who want a mix of everyday practicality and premium tech.

Aside from these new additions, the bike continues to get an LED headlamp, sharp tank extensions, Bluetooth connectivity support with turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, along with other readouts like speed, fuel level, odometer and trip meters.

Hero has offered this new variant in three body shades: Black Pearl Red, Black Matshdow Grey, and Black Leaf Green, with revised graphics.

Powertrain and Underpinnings

Based on a diamond-frame chassis, the underpinnings of the 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R remain unchanged, comprising 37mm telescopic forks and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock unit. The bike rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Speaking of the powertrain, the Xtreme 125R is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled engine that produces 11.4PS of max power and 10.5Nm of peak torque. However, with the new ride-by-wire technology, it should now offer a smoother throttle response and potentially better fuel efficiency.

The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R rivals the TVS Raider 125, Honda CB125 Hornet and Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
