Powertrain and Underpinnings
Based on a diamond-frame chassis, the underpinnings of the 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R remain unchanged, comprising 37mm telescopic forks and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock unit. The bike rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Speaking of the powertrain, the Xtreme 125R is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled engine that produces 11.4PS of max power and 10.5Nm of peak torque. However, with the new ride-by-wire technology, it should now offer a smoother throttle response and potentially better fuel efficiency.
Competition Check
The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R rivals the TVS Raider 125, Honda CB125 Hornet and Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
