After revealing the exterior of the upcoming Magnite concept last month, now Nissan has taken wraps from its interior through the official images.
Nissan Magnite Interior: What does it get?
At the first glimpse, the interior of the Nissan Magnite concept looks very funky and sporty. It features a minimalistic design theme and sports a pretty attractive red-black cabin motif. The dashboard emphasizes honeycomb pattern and hexagonal AC vents with chrome surrounding.
At the center of the dashboard, it features a tablet styled large touchscreen infotainment system, that is likely to be 8.0-inch in size in the production-spec version. It is expected to come with Nissan connected car technology and apple carplay + android auto smartphone connectivity support.
The climate control knobs are placed below the infotainment system. As per the revealed images, the Magnite will get an auto climate control system. It features a three-dial layout with an integrated LED display in it. It resembles Hyundai Venue's climate control system.
Other cabin highlights include two-tone leather upholstery, integrated headrests at front, adjustable headrest at rear, steering mounted controls (for audio, telephony and MID), a digital instrument cluster, rear ac vents, an engine start/stop button on center console tunnel, front and rear armrest, red color padding on door trims with silver/chrome finishing.
Other Expected Features
Nissan Magnite is expected to be a feature-loaded sub-4m SUV. Apart from the features mentioned above, it is also expected to get premium equipment like an electric sunroof, segment-first 360-degree parking camera and cruise control. On the safety front, it could get multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control, etc. To know about its exterior design and features, click here.

Both gasoline mills are anticipated to come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the turbocharged unit can also get an option of a CVT automatic transmission.
Price Range and Rivals
The upcoming Magnite SUV is expected to be launched at a very competitive ex-showroom, starting around Rs 5.5-6 lakh (ex-showroom). In fact, it could be the most affordable sub-compact SUV in the Indian market where it will compete against the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, and Mahindra XUV300. Soon, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and Toyota Urban Cruiser will also join the tribe.
Author's Take
The interior images of Magnite's concept don’t highlight any odd scheme or characteristics. Hence, we can expect the utmost of these elements to be carried forward to the production model. Its recently spied production vesion also indicates the same, as it too had a similar exterior design to its concept model.
