Vida VX2 Plus Launched With 4.4 kWh Battery; Check Price, Specs and Range

Hero has expanded the variant lineup of the VX2 electric scooter by introducing the VX2 Plus variant with a larger 4.4 kWh battery pack. Priced at Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Vida VX2 Plus features two removable 2.2kWh battery packs and claims an IDC-certified range of 187 km.

Compared to the VX2 Plus 3.4 kWh variant, the new 4.4 kWh version claims 41km more range. In fact, the claimed top speed has also gone up to 90kmph from earlier 80 kmph. Hero has also offered this new variant with a more powerful 1kW portable charger, instead of the 580W charger available with the smaller battery pack variants. This can juice up its battery pack from 0 to 80% in just 3 hours and 17 minutes, while 0-100% SOC takes roughly 5 hours.

What’s remained unchanged is the 6kW electric motor, which produces 26Nm of peak torque. Other mechanical components, design and features also remain the same, with key amenities including three riding modes (Eco, Ride and Sport), Boost mode, USB charging port, a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation assist, remote immobilisation, GPS-based live location tracking, and much more.

Colour Options

The Vida VX2 Plus is available in seven colour options: Nexus Blue, Metallic Grey, Matte White, Autumn Orange, Matte Lime, Pearl Black, and Pearl Red.

Warranty

The VX2 Plus comes with a standard 3-year warranty, which can be extended to 5 years/60,000km (whichever comes first).

Rivals

In the electric scooter segment, the Vida VX2 locks horns with the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Ola S1 Pro.
