Tesla Set To Expand Footprint With New Showroom In Delhi’s Aerocity

Soon after inaugurating its Mumbai experience centre, Tesla India is now all set to expand its footprint in India, with second showroom soon opening in Delhi’s Aerocity. It is expected to be operational by August.

After opening its first dealership at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), a popular business area, Tesla is now setting up its second showroom in Delhi’s Aerocity. Aerocity is known for its luxury hotels, high-end shops, and is very close to the airport, making it a hotspot for rich customers and international visitors. By choosing such premium locations, Tesla is clearly focusing on wealthy buyers in India — just like it does in other countries.

This also shows that Tesla is not targeting regular car buyers yet, but rather people who see it as a status symbol or a luxury purchase.
