Kinetic DX

Ex-Showroom PriceRs 1,11,499
  • Both the DX and DX Plus variants look similar, except for the “+” badging in the latter.
  • Powering it is a 4.7kW BLDC hub motor that draws its charge from a 2.5 kWh battery pack.
  • It claims a range of 102 km on a single charge and offers a top speed of 80 kmph.
  • It only comes with a portable off-board charger, which means you will have to carry it separately.
  • Regarding features, the DX trim comes loaded with an LED headlamp with integrated indicators, LED DRLs, auto-opening footrest, keyless access (a password-based ‘Easy Key’ system), three riding modes (Range, Power and Turbo), reverse assist, hill-hold assist, regen braking, cruise control, hazard lamp and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster with basic smartphone connectivity support via Bluetooth.
  • It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 100/80-section tubeless tyres.
  • For anchoring, the Kinetic DX gets a 220mm front disc and a 130mm drum brake, with Combined Braking System (CBS).
  • It has 165mm of ground clearance and 37 litres of underseat storage.
  • Kinetic offers it in two colour options: Black and Silver.

Kinetic DX+

Ex-Showroom PriceRs 1,17,499
Premium over DX+Rs 6,000
  • Kinetic offers the top-spec DX+ variant with the same motor setup; however, it is tuned to make slightly more power (4.8kW).
  • Like the DX variant, it also comes equipped with a 2.5 kWh battery pack, but with a claimed range of 116km, 14 km more than the DX variant.
  • It also has a slightly higher top speed of 90 kmph.
  • Kinectic also offers the DX+ variant with an onboard charger for added convenience. This eliminates the need to carry a bulky external charger. And interestingly, the charging cable comes out of the apron itself, so you don’t need to open the seat or lose out on underseat storage space.
  • The DX+ variant also comes with a lot of modern connectivity features called “Telekinetic” which includes geofencing alert, find-my-Kinetic, vehicle tracking, anti-theft alert, guide-me-home, seat & charger opening, data analytics and many more.
  • It is offered in five colour schemes: Red, Blue, White, Black and Silver.

Competition Check

The Kinetic DX and DX+ will rival the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Vida VX2, Ola S1 Pro and Ather Rizta.
