2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA – Design
The all-new Mercedes GLA gets a more muscular and SUV-like profile compared to the outgoing model which used to look like a burly hatchback. It shares its design cues with the Mercedes GLC & Mercedes GLE. It features a refreshed sportier grille, a sculpted bonnet, and new LED headlamps at the front. Compared to the previous model, the 2021 GLA gets smoother lines and curves; however, it still maintains its sturdy appearance thanks to the aggressively styled new bumpers, squared-out wheel arches with black body cladding, and heavy haunches above the rear wheels.
