Royal Enfield Files Trademarks for Two New Logos

Royal Enfield has filed trademarks for two new logos: a badge logo and a new typeface logo. The trademark application has been submitted to the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Vienna Classification database. This database analyzes the figurative elements of the design to determine if the trademark is unique and suitable for registration.

  • The first logo closely resembles the tank badge found on some variants of the Classic 350 and Interceptor 650. It has been filed in black and white, giving Royal Enfield the flexibility to use the logo with various colour options and special editions.
  • The second logo features “Royal Enfield” written in cursive, bearing a resemblance to the manufacturer’s earlier logo from the 1890s. It is expected to be primarily used for the brand’s apparel and merchandise range.
  • Currently, the Royal Enfield awaits approval from higher authorities to use these new logos.
