On India’s Independence Day, Ola Electric made a series of big announcements for its EV lineup, including permanent price cuts, the launch of a new high-performance scooter, and a sneak peek at its upcoming electric superbike.
Price Cuts For S1 Pro Plus and Roadster X Plus
Ola has reduced prices of two of its models, with deliveries starting from November 22 (Navratri). Customers can also avail an additional “Sankalp Special” discount of ₹10,000 till August 17, 2025.
- Ola S1 Pro Plus – Now priced at ₹1,69,999 (down from ₹1,99,999). It packs a 5.2kWh India-made “4680 Bharat Cell” battery, with a claimed range of 320km, top speed of 141 kmph, and 0-80% charging in about 7 hours.
- Ola Roadster X Plus – Now costs ₹1,89,999 (down from ₹2,24,999). It comes with a 9.1kWh Bharat Cell battery, producing 11kW peak power, 58Nm torque, 125 kmph top speed, and an impressive IDC range of 501km. It can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 2.7 seconds.

New Launch: Ola S1 Pro Sport
Ola also launched its sportiest and most premium scooter yet – the S1 Pro Sport, priced at ₹1,49,999 (introductory, ex-showroom).
It gets:
- 5.2kWh Bharat Cell battery with a powerful 16kW motor
- Claimed top speed of 152 kmph and 0-40 kmph in 2 seconds
- 71Nm torque and 320km IDC range
- Features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), bigger 14-inch front wheel, gas-charged monoshock, ABS, traction control, aerodynamic design with winglets, and carbon-fibre-textured elements.
Bookings are open for ₹999, and deliveries will start in January 2026.

Ola MoveOS 6 with ADAS and AI “Krutim”
Ola also announced its upcoming MoveOS 6 update by early 2026. Key highlights:
- Built-in AI called Krutim that suggests ways to improve range using ride data.
- Traction control, improved handling, and personalised features.
- Camera-based ADAS with collision warnings, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, and possibly updates for older models (though hardware requirements are still unclear).

Ola Diamondhead Superbike Teased
The biggest surprise was the unveiling of a working version of the Ola Diamondhead electric superbike concept, set for a mid-2027 launch at around ₹5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Claimed highlights include:
- 0-100 kmph in 2 seconds.
- Active aerodynamics and lightweight materials.
- Segment’s first hub-centred steering, adaptive suspension, and ADAS with active braking.
- “Extreme” fast charging capability.
If Ola manages to bring all these features to production, the Diamondhead could become India’s most advanced electric motorcycle.
