Ola Electric Cuts Prices, Launches S1 Pro Sport, and Teases Diamondhead Superbike

On India’s Independence Day, Ola Electric made a series of big announcements for its EV lineup, including permanent price cuts, the launch of a new high-performance scooter, and a sneak peek at its upcoming electric superbike.

Price Cuts For S1 Pro Plus and Roadster X Plus

Ola has reduced prices of two of its models, with deliveries starting from November 22 (Navratri). Customers can also avail an additional “Sankalp Special” discount of ₹10,000 till August 17, 2025.

  • Ola S1 Pro Plus – Now priced at ₹1,69,999 (down from ₹1,99,999). It packs a 5.2kWh India-made “4680 Bharat Cell” battery, with a claimed range of 320km, top speed of 141 kmph, and 0-80% charging in about 7 hours.
  • Ola Roadster X Plus – Now costs ₹1,89,999 (down from ₹2,24,999). It comes with a 9.1kWh Bharat Cell battery, producing 11kW peak power, 58Nm torque, 125 kmph top speed, and an impressive IDC range of 501km. It can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 2.7 seconds.

New Launch: Ola S1 Pro Sport

Ola also launched its sportiest and most premium scooter yet – the S1 Pro Sport, priced at ₹1,49,999 (introductory, ex-showroom).

It gets:

  • 5.2kWh Bharat Cell battery with a powerful 16kW motor
  • Claimed top speed of 152 kmph and 0-40 kmph in 2 seconds
  • 71Nm torque and 320km IDC range
  • Features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), bigger 14-inch front wheel, gas-charged monoshock, ABS, traction control, aerodynamic design with winglets, and carbon-fibre-textured elements.

Ola Diamondhead Superbike Teased

The biggest surprise was the unveiling of a working version of the Ola Diamondhead electric superbike concept, set for a mid-2027 launch at around ₹5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Claimed highlights include:

  • 0-100 kmph in 2 seconds.
  • Active aerodynamics and lightweight materials.
