MG Cyberster To Be Launched Tomorrow

JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch the Cyberster tomorrow, ie, July 25, 2025. It was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo. Once launched, it will be the second model to retail from the brand’s premium MG Select dealerships after the MG M9 electric MPV.

MG Cyberster: What To Expect?

The Cyberster is an all-electric, 2-seater convertible roadster that is expected to be offered in a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration, which produces 510PS of max power and 725Nm of peak torque. This enables the Cyberster to complete the century sprint in just 3.2 seconds, making it the fastest MG on sale. It will come equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack that claims MIDC range (Part 1+Part 2) of 580 kilometres on a single charge.

Globally, the Cyberster is also available in RWD guise with a smaller 64kWh battery pack in select markets.

Regarding features, the Cyberster will come loaded with the following amenities:-

  • Four drive modes: Custom, Comfort, Sport, and Super Sport
  • Wrap-around triple-connected screen setup, comprising a 10.25-inch driver’s display flanked by two 7-inch screens
  • 7-inch vertically oriented touchscreen for AC controls (next to drive selector)
  • A BOSE sound system
  • 6-way powered seats
  • Automatic AC
  • Automatic LED headlamps
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • TPMS
  • Heated steering
  • V2L (Vehicle-to-load)

  • Four airbags
  • Level-2 ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection and more.

MG will offer the Cyberster in four colour options: Modern Beige, Flare Red, Andes Grey, and Modern Beige.

Speaking of the dimensions, the MG Cyberster is 4535mm long, 2110mm wide and 1329mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2690mm. It has a ground clearance of 115mm.

Since it will be brought in as a full import unit, we expect MG to price the Cyberster at around Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom). It has no direct rival in the country.
