- Maruti Suzuki has launched the commercial passenger carrier/taxi version of the Alto K10 named “Tour H1”.
- It has been priced at Rs 4.81 lakh for the petrol and Rs 5.71 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi) for the CNG version.
- Powering the Maruti Tour H1 is the same 1-litre DualJet DualVVT petrol engine as the Alto K10 that makes 67PS/89Nm in petrol mode and 57PS/82Nm in CNG mode.
- For transmission duties, it only gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
- Maruti claims that the Tour H1 is capable of returning fuel efficiency of 24.6kmpl on petrol and 34.46 km/kg while operating on compressed natural gas.
- Design-wise, it looks similar to the Alto K10. However, it gets steel wheels and, blacked-out bumpers & OVRMS.
- When it comes to features, it only gets basic features like AC with heater,. dual-front airbags, front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter, ABS with EBD, seat belt reminder, high-speed alert system and rear parking sensors.
- It lacks features like a music/infotainment system and steering-mounted audio & telephony controls.
- Interested customers have the option to select the new Tour H1 from three colour choices – Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, and Arctic White.
