Mahindra XUV700 Hits 2 Lakh Production; New Colours Introduced

The Mahindra XUV700 SUV has hit the 2 lakh production milestone in just 33 months of its launch in August 2021. To mark this occasion, Mahindra has introduced two new colour options โ€“ Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna. The latter is exclusive to XUV700.

These new colour choices are available across all variants of the XUV700 in addition to the existing single-tone colour options โ€“ Dazzling Silver, Everest White, Electric Blue, Midnight Black, Red Rage and Napoli Black.

Mahindra XUV700 โ€“ Variants, Powertrain and Price

Mahindra XUV700 is available in two broad trim levels โ€“ MX and AX. The AX trim is further categorised into four sub-variants โ€“ AX3, AX5, AX5 Select, AX7, and AX7 L. Depending on the variant, it is available in three seating configurations โ€“ 5, 6, and 7-seater.

Powering the XUV700 is a 2-litre turbocharged petrol (200PS/380Nm) and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine (up to 185PS/450Nm), offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While a front-wheel-drive (FWD) is standard, the diesel-automatic powertrain is also offered in an all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration.

Mahindra retails the XUV700 between Rs 13.99 โ€“ 26.99 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Tata Harrier/Safari, Hyundai Creta/Alcazar, MG Hector/Hector Plus, and select variants of Kia Seltos.
