Mahindra has recently thrilled the compact SUV segment with the launch of the XUV300 TurboSport. Ranging between Rs 10.35 lakh and Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom), you can now book one online or at an authorised Mahindra dealership. Its test drives and deliveries have now begun as well.
For those who aren’t aware, Mahindra has provided the XUV300 TurboSport with a new 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi (Turbo Gasoline Direct Injection) engine that makes a whopping power output of 130PS and a torque of 230Nm, along with an over-boost capability for momentary peak torque as high as 250Nm. It comes only with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The new XUV300 TurboSport comes in three trims – W6, W8, and W8 (O). Compared to its regular variants, it receives a new front grille with red accents and an all-black cabin with silver highlights and red stitching. Its features list is similar to the standard model, comprising auto projector headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, 16-inch alloy wheels, all-four disc brakes, dual-zone AC, steering modes, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car tech, up to 6-airbags, electronic stability control, hill assist, front & rear parking sensors, ISOFIX anchors and a rearview camera.
Catering mainly to enthusiast buyers, the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport locks horns with the Hyundai Venue N-Line and Kia Sonet X-Line.
