Mahindra Marazzo Discontinued From The Indian Market

The Mahindra Marazzo has been removed from the carmaker’s official website, suggesting it is no longer available for sale. With its discontinuation, Mahindra has exited the MPV segment, now concentrating exclusively on SUVs in the Indian market.

Launched in 2018, the Mahindra Marazzo has lived an uneventful life. It never enjoyed success like other MPVs in the Indian market such as Maruti Ertiga, Kia Carens and Toyota Innova range. In fact, in the last year, Mahindra only managed to deliver the MPV in double-digit figures, surpassing the 100-unit threshold once in September 2023, when they dispatched 144 units. This low demand also led Mahindra to skip giving it any major updates throughout its lifecycle.

Mahindra Marazzo – A Quick Glance

Before discontinuation, the Mahindra Marazzo was offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine (123PS/300Nm), with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It was available in three variants and in both 7 and 8-seater configurations.

In terms of features, it was packed with amenities like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, height-adjustable driver’s seat, auto AC, rear AC vents, cruise control, dual-front airbags, ISOFIX anchors, rear defogger, all-wheel disc brakes, rear defogger, and rear parking sensors with camera.

Towards the end of its lifecycle, the Marazzo was priced from Rs 14.59 lakh to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the Toyota Innova Crysta and Kia Carens.
