Kia Confirms ‘SYROS’ As The Official Name For Its Upcoming SUV

Kia India has confirmed that its upcoming SUV will be called SYROS. It will be the brand’s first Kia 2.0 SUV after the Carnival and EV9 , and will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos. Kia says that it will be combining bold, new-age design with advanced technology and a touch of mythological heritage.

  • Going by the teaser, the upcoming Kia SYROS will feature a body silhouette, with a flat roof line.
  • Keen eyes could also notice the flush-fitted door handles and chunky wheel arches. Lightings will be complete LED setup with L-shaped elements.

  • Regarding features, Kia claims the Syros will get amenities like the Carnival Limousine. Having said that, we expect it to feature individual rear seats with extendable thigh support and ventilation function, along with window sunshades for creature comfort.
  • Expect it to be offered only in the ICE configuration, albiet with both petrol and diesel powertrains. Expect it to get the same engine options as the Kia Sonet.
  • Expect more details about the Kia SYROS in the coming days. We anticipate its launch in early 2024.
