New Kia Carnival Limousine Launched At Rs 63.90 Lakh

Kia has finally brought the facelift version of the fourth-generation Carnival in India, offered in sole Limousine trim via the CBU route. However, the brand has plans to locally assemble this MPV at a later stage. It has been priced at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it is Rs 32.92 lakh more expensive than the top-spec variant of the Toyota Innova Hycross.

Kia has offered the new Carnival Limousine in 7 7-seater (2+2+3) configuration in India, featuring two caption seats in the second row with ventilation and leg support.

Kia is offering the 2024 Carnival in two exterior shades – Glacier White Pearl and Fusion Black, and two dual-tone interior themes – Navy and Misty Gray, and Tuscan and Umber.

Design and Features

Regarding design, the new Kia Carnival Limousine features a prominent chrome-studded grille up front, flanked by vertically stacked headlamps with connected LED DRLs, while the rear will sport connected LED tail lights setup with an inverted L motif.

Inside, it gets dual 12.3-inch curved displays, along with a new 4-spoke steering wheel and dual electric sunroofs. The other notable features include three-zone climate control, an 11-inch heads-up display, a 12-way powered driver’s seat with lumbar support, an 8-way powered co-driver seat, wireless charging, a premium BOSE sound system, and a powered tailgate.

Its safety net includes eight airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brakes, traction control, electronic stability control, hill assist, tyre pressure monitor, front, rear & side parking sensors, a 360-degree surround view system, and a Level-2 ADAS suite.

Propulsion Duties

Like its previous iteration, the 2024 Kia Carnival continues to be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that makes 192PS of max power and 441Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that powers the front wheels of the car.
