JSW Motors has trademarked seven names ahead of its debut in the Indian market. These names are likely to be used for its India portfolio, set to be launched in the coming years. These include: –
- JSW Combat
- JSW Adventura
- JSW Cadet
- JSW Urbanique
- JSW Dominor
- JSW Sereno
- JSW Eleve
While JSW hasn’t shared any details about these upcoming models, going by their names, the JSW Combat, Adventura and Cadet seem likely to be used for its upcoming SUVs, which could also have off-road capabilities. Among these, the Cadet could be a compact SUV, likely to be positioned against the Mahindra Thar, Maruti Jimny, and the upcoming Mahindra Vision S. On the other hand, the Urbanique seems more suited to an urban-centric vehicle, while the Sereno, which means calm and peaceful, could be used for its battery electric vehicle (BEV). Meanwhile, the Eleve could be more suitable for a compact vehicle.
However, it is worth noting that these are only possibilities based on the names, and we do not guarantee that the names will be used for the aforementioned models.

It is expected to launch its first product in the country around the festive season, which is likely to be based on the Jetour T2 plug-in-hybrid SUV. Reports also suggest that rebadged versions of the Jaecco J5 and Chery iCar V23 could be among the first models we see from the brand. The brand is also reportedly setting up a massive manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, with an installed capacity of 3.5 lakh units a year.
