Jeep India has launched the limited-run Compass 85th Anniversary Edition in India to mark the brand’s 85 years in international markets. Based on the higher-spec Model S (O) variant, the Anniversary Edition is priced identically to the standard variant at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Its bookings are now open across the nation.

Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition: What’s Special?

Limited to just 85 units, the Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition gets a host of visual enhancements over the regular model. These include: –

  • ’85’ decals on the doors, tailgate and wheel hub caps.
  • Gloss-black 18-inch alloy wheels.
  • All-black cabin with Mayan Gold accents for a stealthier look.
  • Black leatherette upholstery with gold-coloured stitching.
  • Golden colour ambient lighting and golden illumination around the panoramic sunroof.

The special edition is also available with an optional 85th Anniversary AXS accessory pack that further adds feel-good elements & features like an illuminated panoramic sunroof, digital IRVM, and front & rear dual dashcam setup.

Apart from the above-mentioned changes, the SUV retains amenities like powered front seats with ventilation function, a memory function for the driver’s seat, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, and a wireless smartphone charger.

Engine Specifications

Powering the Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition is the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine as the standard model that makes out 170PS of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed torque converter automatic unit. The latter is also available with a 4-wheel-drive (4WD) option.
