- Hyundai India reported to launch Adventure Edition variants for its two mid-size SUVs, the Creta and Alcazar, expected to hit the market by August end or early September 2023.
- The Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition is likely to replace the existing Knight Edition in its variant lineup.
Hyundai Creta, Alcazar Adventure Editions: What Will Be Special?
- Both the Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition variants will feature plenty of cosmetic changes over the standard version.
- Both the special edition versions are likely to feature a new Khaki Green colour similar to the one seen on the recently launched Exter. Additionally, they may feature a blacked-out finish for the roof, ORVMs, skid plates and alloy wheels, enhancing their overall sporty appearance.
- Accompanying this special paint shade is expected to be the red front brake callipers and Adventure Edition badges.
- Inside, the Adventure Editions is likely to get an all-black scheme with contrast-coloured stitching and Adventure Edition badging on the front seat headrests and sill plate.
- Hyundai is anticipated to offer the Adventure Edition in multiple variants, and their features are likely to match those of the respective standard version.

Engine Options
- There are no anticipated mechanical changes. The Adventure Editions will retain their current petrol and diesel engine options.
- For reference, the Hyundai Creta comes with 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (116PS/250Nm) engine choice, while the Alcazar gets a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (160PS/253Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115PS/250Nm).
- Both manual and automatic gearbox options are expected to be offered.

Expected Price
We expect a slightly higher price for the Hyundai Adventure Edition lineup compared to the regular trims they are based on.
