Honda, Bajaj, Yamaha, KTM, and Hero MotoCorp Extend Validity Of Free Service And Warranty

To curb the rising COVID19 cases in the country, many states have once again imposed full/partial lockdown. Therefore, due to restricted movements in some regions, customers are worried about the expiry of their vehicle warranties and free service periods. This has led the automakers to console their customers by extending the validity of their warranties and service packages. Here are some two-wheelers manufacturers that have recently made similar kind of announcements: –

Honda, Yamaha & KTM

Honda has announced that owners, whose vehicle's free service, regular warranty, and extended warranty were meant to expire between 1st April and 31st May 2021, now can avail these services until 31st July 2021. And the extension will be available across all its dealerships in India. Austrian bikemaker KTM and Japanese giant Yamaha are also offering similar extensions, but Yamaha's added validity period will last till June 30, whereas KTM owners can avail these services till 31st July 2021. 

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto has also extended the validity of free services of all its vehicles which were due to expire between April and May 2021. The brand has extended the last date to avail of these services till 31st July.

Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp has also extended the free services & standard warranty period, but it is different in nature. As per the brand, the extension will be given for 60 days from the date of expiry. Hero has also announced to help those customers who can't access service centers due to government restrictions in their areas.

Besides the aforementioned manufacturers, TVS Motor Company has also taken similar extension measures to ensure utmost customer satisfaction during these hard times.
