Honda Cars India has announced a voluntary recall for 77,954 units of its multiple models over a possible fault in the fuel pump assembly. The fuel pump installed in these cars may contain defective impellers, which could, over time, result in the engine stopping or not starting at all. Surprisingly, almost all Honda models except for the 5th-gen City and Accord have been affected by the recall campaign. Here's take a look at the affected model's list with their production period: –
Sr. No | Model | Production year | Total affected units |
1 | Amaze | Jan – Aug 2019 | 36,086 |
2 | 4th Gen City | Jan – Sept 2019 | 20,248 |
3 | WR-V | Jan – Aug 2019 | 7,871 |

It is important to note that the units manufactured before or after the above-mentioned production time period are not affected by the suspected fuel pump issue.
