Harley-Davidson India Announces 2025 Lineup: Prices Updated, Fat Bob Discontinued

Harley-Davidson India has rolled out the prices for its 2025 motorcycle range. While several big bikes see a price revision, the most accessible Harley—the X440—continues at the same price, which is a welcome move for entry-level buyers.

  • No price hike for the X440 range
  • Fat Bob discontinued; to be replaced by the new Street Bob
  • Two new CVO (Custom Vehicle Operation) bikes announced: CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide

X440: Still the Most Accessible Harley

Launched in 2023 in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, the Harley-Davidson X440 is the brand’s first India-focused motorcycle. Its classic roadster design and refined 440cc single-cylinder engine make it an ideal entry point into the Harley lifestyle. Even in 2025, prices for all X440 variants remain unchanged—a smart move to attract budget-conscious enthusiasts.

Fat Bob Discontinued, Street Bob Incoming

Harley is phasing out the Fat Bob in India, despite it being one of their better-selling big bikes last year (39 units sold FY24-25, as per SIAM). Known for its aggressive cruiser styling and unique personality, the Fat Bob will be replaced by the Street Bob, which leans more toward traditional bobber design with greater scope for customisation.

CVO Range Returns with Two New Models

Harley has also introduced two new models under its premium Custom Vehicle Operation (CVO) lineup:

  • CVO Street Glide
  • CVO Road Glide

Prices for these bikes—as well as the new Street Bob—will be announced soon.

CVO models are known for their limited production runs and come loaded with exclusive features, performance upgrades, and high-end finishes. Expect them to be the most expensive Harleys on sale in India.

Other Bikes in the Lineup

  • Nightster & Sportster S: The only two Harleys with liquid-cooled V-twin engines. While the Nightster is a sharp cruiser, the Sportster S gets a flatter, sportier design.
  • Pan America 1250 Special: Harley’s only adventure-tourer with a big price tag and tons of tech.
  • Breakout, Heritage Classic, and Fat Boy: Classic big cruisers aimed at laidback highway riding with lots of torque and road presence.

Harley-Davidson India’s 2025 update brings a mix of good news and changes. Holding the X440 price steady shows a clear push to grow its base in the Indian market. While fans may miss the Fat Bob’s character, the new Street Bob and CVO additions promise fresh excitement for the brand’s premium cruiser fans.
