Five First-ever Features Debuting On New Tata Sierra 2025

The Tata Sierra is one of the most anticipated launches of 2025. The company has recently unveiled the SUV ahead of its launch on November 25, 2025. While it’s not only one of the most stylish Tata SUVs, it also boasts a host of segment-first features, including some of them being first for a Tata car. Here’s a detailed look at these features: –

  • Triple screen setup: The Sierra is the first Tata car to feature a connected triple screen setup, with dedicated displays for the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and co-passenger entertainment. This not only elevates the cabin’s tech appeal but also gives it a premium and upmarket appeal.
  • 12-Speaker JBL Audio System With Soundbar: With the Sierra, Tata has stepped up the in-cabin audio experience by offering as many as 12 speakers with a soundbar and Dolby Atmos support, delivering richer and more immersive sound quality.
  • Extendable thigh support for front seats: To elevate the comfort on front seats, the Sierra comes equipped with extendable under-thigh support that allows front occupants to adjust the cushion length for better leg support during long drives.
  • Extendable Sun Visors: One of the most interesting features of the Tata Sierra is its extendable sun visors, which offer better protection from harsh sunlight. These visors can slide outward to cover a wide area, thus the driver and front passenger are shielded even when the sun hits from sharper angles.
  • Auxiliary Tail Lamp: Another unique addition on the Sierra is the auxiliary taillamp setup, designed to enhance visibility when the boot is open.

Tata Sierra Engine Options

While Tata has yet to reveal the technical specifications and details of the upcoming Sierra, it is likely to be offered with three engine options, comprising the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel and the brand’s all-new 1.5-litre TGDi turbocharged and naturally aspirated petrol engines. The TGDi gasoline mill will also be offered in the Harrier and Safari on December 9, 2025.

Expected Price

Unofficial pre-launch bookings for the Tata Sierra are already underway at select dealerships across the nation. Regarding pricing, we expect Tata to price the Sierra 2025 between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris, Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and soon-to-be-facelifted Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
