Honda Rebel 300 E-Clutch Introduced For India

Honda today has introduced the all-new Rebel 300 in India, while prices are still under wraps. It will be available in two variants: Standard and E-Clutch. Here’s all you need to know about it: –

Honda Rebel 300 – Design and Features

Featuring a boober-inspired design with an exposed frame and a strong custom vibe, the Rebel 300 is aimed especially at young buyers. Its minimalist styling, blacked-out elements and low-slung stance give it a distinctive road presence.

To make the Rebel 300 appealing, it has been equipped with LED lighting all around, along with a fully digital instrument cluster and torque control.

What Powers The Honda Rebel 300?

  • Powering the all-new Honda Rebel 300 is the same 286cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the CB300R, which is expected to produce 30PS and 27.5Nm. It is expected to be tuned for max torque at a lower rpm range, allowing riders to accelerate smoothly without frequent gear changes.
  • The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox with the brand’s patented e-clutch technology in the top-spec trim that allows you to ride and shift gears without manually using the clutch lever.

Honda Rebel 300 – Other Specs and Features

  • It has an accessible seat height of 690mm and a kerb weight of 165kg.
  • It ensures max ride comfort via a telescopic fork and adjustable twin rear shock absorbers from Showa.
  • Helping the bike stop is a disc brake setup at both ends, assisted by a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).
  • Honda further claims that its compact proportions, approachable ergonomics and relaxed riding posture make it easy to ride and handle.

Rivals

The Honda Rebel 300 is pitted against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in the Indian market.
