Six Features That Tata Sierra Gets Over Hyundai Creta

Tata Motors has recently brought back the iconic Sierra nameplate in the Indian market. Measuring 4.3 meters in length, the new 2025 Tata Sierra is a mid-size SUV that will be pitted against the segment-leader Hyundai Creta. Knowing the battle is tough, Tata has left no stone unturned, loading it to the brim. While the Creta is already known for its rich equipment and strong value, the Sierra takes things further with several exclusive features that make it feel upmarket and future-ready.

Having said that, check out the six standout features the Tata Sierra offers over the Hyundai Creta: –

  • 19-inch alloys: The Sierra rides on the segment’s tallest 19-inch alloy wheels that not only enhance its road presence but also provide it a rugged stance compared to Creta’s smaller 16-inch alloy wheels.
  • Flush fitting door handles: They not only give the Sierra a cleaner and more modern look, but also improve the aerodynamics.
  • Powered tailgate: This enables hands-free operation of the boot, offering more convenience and adding a feel-good factor.
  • Hidden rear wiper: This is again to improve the overall aesthetics and provides the SUV with a cleaner appearance.
  • Triple screen setup: Unlike Creta, which gets a dual 10.25-inch connected display setup, the Sierra comes with the segment’s first triple screen setup for the driver, infotainment, and passenger, giving it a premium and upmarket appeal.
  • Extendable thigh support for front seats: This feature enables the driver and front co-passenger to adjust their thigh support for enhanced comfort, especially on longer journeys.
  • 12-speaker JBL sound system with a sound bar: Audio duties in the Sierra are handled by a 12-speaker JBL sound system with a sound bar and support for Dolby Atmos. On the other hand, the Creta gets an 8-speaker BOSE sound system.

It is clear that Sierra has an edge over the Creta in terms of features. However, Creta also gets a few added amenities that the Sierra skips, such as an 8-way powered co-passenger seat, electric BOSS mode (Sierra has manual BOSS mode), dashcam, rear tray table, and quad-beam headlamps.

Nevertheless, both the SUVs are well-loaded and get a host of common amenities, like automatic LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, powered driver seat with memory function, wireless connectivity support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone AC, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, digital driver’s display, 360-degree camera, front & rear parking sensors, ESC, hill assist, traction control, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, six airbags, and level-2 ADAS suite.
