While the pricing of the Feel variant for single tone and dual-tone finishes are different, the higher-spec Shine demands the same amount for both single and dual-tone shades. The first three hues can also be had with a blacked-out roof. Besides this, the SUV with Peal White color will also flaunt orange-colored highlights on the exterior, whereas the other shades will feature silver accents.

Unjustified pricing

It is important to note that most of the features of C5 Aircross are standard across the entire variant line-up. What differentiates the top-spec Shine trim from the base-spec Feel trim is the availability of features like an LED projector headlamps, panoramic sunroof, and hands-free tailgate. And for this added set of features, the Shine trim is priced at exorbitant manner, demanding a premium of Rs 2 lakh over the Feel trim.

Engine, gearbox, and mileage

Powering the C5 Aircross is a 2.0-liter diesel engine that puts out 177PS of max grunt and 400Nm of peak twist. The unit is paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Citroen claims an 18.6kmpl mileage with it. Unlike the global-spec C5 Aircoss, its Indian-sped misses out petrol engine option.

Complimentary maintenance package for selected customers

Citroen is offering a complimentary maintenance package of 5-yrs/50,000km to customers who have booked the SUV till 6th April 2021. Besides, all buyers will get a standard 3-yrs/ 1 lakh km (whichever occurs earlier) warranty along with roadside assistance.

Rivals

Considering the price range of Citroen C5 Aircross, it will rival the higher variant of the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan SUVs.
